I am stumped and need some advice from the group. While confirming my zero yesterday on my MRP (which historically has been one of the most accurate rifles that I own), it started putting two rounds on top of one another in the intended POI and then one round two inches low. It did so with precision as the low rounds were also on top of one another. To this point I have checked the scope mount which is rock solid and I have tried to move it with everything short of a sledge hammer. I have tried ammo from two manufacturers as well as my handloads and it did the same thing albeit with slightly different accuracy and the rounds impacted low with all as described above, but did so with slight differences in elevation and windage. By slight I mean by a 1/4 inch. I zeroed as normal, off the magazine at 50 yards. 5-10 MPH wind.
The rifle is described as:
LMT MRP with 16" barrel (approximately 5k rounds through this barrel)
EOTECH EXPS 2.0
LMT SOPMOD stock
LMT two stage trigger
Troy iron sights (not used at all during recent zero session)
H-Buffer
LMT BCG (has had a BCM BCG kit installed to include gas rings, new firing pin, and extractor)
BCM magazine
Any help or thoughts on the issue would be greatly appreciated.
