In all seriousness, it's very interesting. Delaying unlocking, slowing the overall operating cycle, reducing gas system pressure, etc are all things that have proven to extend parts life and to help guns be more controllable.
This is a critique I have seen before. I think it's important to point out that while this is almost always the case with any mechanical device, very rarely do companies take a few extra steps to integrate as many of those past features into a single system. But when they do so, the results can be almost revolutionary...
As an example, there was practically nothing new in the iPhone when it came out, but it was the first device to integrate all of those features into a single package. And look how it turned out.
In the video the full auto firing cadence didn't seem very consistent.
Doesn't the M27 fire from the open bolt in FA as well?
