What's the total price? I see the reservation price
and how will it compare to a wilson cqb
Holy ****. I want to know how much.

Oh dear...got to have.
On their web site the x-tac is $2,760.
Does Wilson use MIM internals or tool steel?
First thought that popped into my head, "How much swag does that thing come with?" I mean, buy an upper and get enough shit to start a shrine to the AR gods.
Second. "What is the price?" Me thinks, a pretty penny, but then again if it a WC made for BCM I don't doubt it wouldn't be a nice 1911.
I also want to know if it's going to be a limited production...
ETA - shit, it will be.

Oh. My. God.
The Precioussss......
I will be all over this. Pretty much exactly what I've been looking for.
Don't you put that evil on me...
And the tax return for 2015 goes to...

Roman Noodles should always be kept in every household, I probably won't buy one. But damn do I want one, its like seeing that Corvette in the parking lot, I will linger far to long for the gunstore employees comfort. What did Wayne say, " It will be mine, oh yes, one day it will be mine".
This BCM 1911 has a light rail and a mag well so I'd say that it cost more than a standard XTac. Maybe $3400 or more
Damn!
I'll be the minority here and say it looks cheap.
But that's just like, my opinion man.
I can see why you are saying that. My feeling is that it looks simple with a sense of rugged usefulness. Since WC is building them, you know that they are built to run, and the finish and outward appearance gives me the the feeling that they should be ran hard and put up dirty. To me a lot of high-end 1911's look way too nice to really do much with them without wearing white gloves.
Holy Dog $h!t! - another double branded 1911. I'm gonna have to get it along with the new Mean Gean Leather belt... who would have ever thought!? - Custom 1911's and leather belts!
(looks in gun room)
Oh. Yeah. Good thing I didn't sell my 1911's and leather after a dozen industry instructors told me they were sucky and unreliable (of which at least two are now prostitutes for 1911 manufacturers on their social media pages).... gonna bring it all back out like bell bottoms.
Looks like a good 1911.
I think it's pretty telling when BCM put their name on a pistol it was a 1911.
My experience points toward a proper 5" 45 being as reliable as a handgun can be. I was a Glock guy for ten years and still like 'em, but the 1911 bashing from the guys who used to own a Kimber or some other such junk is exactly the same as someone going to an AK because their Bushmaster soured 'em on the AR.
There are plenty of stages and stereotypes of 1911 ownership.
I hate taking or teaching classes with more than 2 or 3 students that bring 1911's. It turns into a armorer clinic... every time (fitting extractors, checking geometry, timing, etc.).... Blows goats.
I would like to have one but will it will be too expensive for me.
I don't really see what the big deal is. BCM is selling a X-Tac with their logo, a rail and magwell on it. Ok. Since it has the BCM name attached to it they will sell out and command a high price. I don't get it.
I'm a "Less is More" kinda guy (and I carry a 1911) and that thing looks all business to me. I like it.
Shit. Just when I was starting to look for a new 1911....not cool.

What the heck makes 1911s so expensive?!?
I am not at all taking anything away from the craftsmanship of a well made 1911, but I can buy 8 Glocks for the price of that thing. Or pay my property taxes for 2 years. Or put 10% down on a Mercedes CLA.
I'm not denying that it is a good weapon, they just seem so expensive for being such a tiny piece of steel.
Price makes it less enticing. I have had a cqb with more options quoted for less from dealers.
