If the ATF approved a trust and allowed a stamp to be issued then any and all liability is on them and only them. It would be completely reasonable for them to produce requirements for what they determine a trust to be in order to have NFA items if at any time they deemed a trust to not meet some sort of legal requirement. They would also have to allow the executor a reasonable amount of time to amend and provide a trust that meets those requirements.
I've never put the item in schedule A until I had the approval. The trust I sent to Silencer shop has nothing in Schedule A and they said it looked good before they sent it out. I trust them since I'm sure they've seen a lot of different trusts and rejections. The 2 form 1's I e-filed were submitted with the same blank schedule A so hopefully I can let you know in a couple weeks.
