Thanks Rob. Somehow I completely missed this series of posts when I went looking for this. I am the only person I know of who has ever gotten a blister this way but it did happen (Colt M16) and I have now become a stickler for machining on lowers.

Make sure that you read the whole thread and see where CD says they're going to start taking that off. CD is probably the company that has responded to, and frankly based their whole line off of more, consumer feedback more than any other.
Thank you very much for your time sir. I look forward to looking at your product and, hopefully, the mid-length gas system version I have been reading rumors about will have the same specs as the D-M4LE. I don't have to purchase another rifle until November time frame so I will keep an eye out.
We will have our middy ready for you by November. There will be two versions, one configured as a lightweight A1 profile and one the same as our D-M4LE, i.e. Government profile. Both will have 1:7 twist in a 4150 barrel, (MIL-B-11595E, CrMoV Grade) plus mil-spec receiver extension, etc.
