It's not an uncommon thing to outrun the carrier in this type of scenario. Even the BumpSaw, SlideFire, etc. crowd runs into this "issue". The "malfunction" you see in the above video is simply me not being familiar with the system, and I believe the hammer was caught up on the backup (third) disconnector, which required me to pull the trigger all the way back, then release it in order for it to pass the hammer over to the Binary disconnector, then the gun started to run again.
With an M4/M16, the carrier determines the ROF, so you can't outrun the carrier. In these scenarios, the trigger determines the ROF, and you can outrun the carrier if you're fast enough.
