I think the whole point of the 'pin-weld' thing is so removal results in irreparable damage to one or both components.
Rainier Arms drilled out the pin and weld of a Surefire flash hider for me that was so nice I was able to sell it second hand on the EE.
Do you know where the pin is? If you do it is pretty easy. I grind the weld area just enough to see the pin, then drill it out.
If you don't know where the pin is, you might end up grinding to much off trying to find it and end up ruining it. (probably why service isn't guaranteed)
Also some have two pins in them.
If you have access to a drill press you might as well try it your self and save money, (unless you happen to find a G-smith who'll guarantee it)
*Now if you don't need to save the Muzzle Device, it's even easier to do. Bunch of videos out there.
I know Ayan at boltcarrier.com does it, he does great work all around.
I don't know what the big deal is. I've removed a few & never had an issue. 15-20 minutes tops & the MDs remained in reusable condition.
Dremel away the weld, place a strong magnet over the pin once it's visible, rock the MD back and forth (gently!). The magnet pulls the pin out, if not all the way, at least enough to grab with a pick.
So, if you were doing for the OP and something totally unexpected happened like the thing was silver-soldered on as well as pinned, would you be willing to replace everything that got damaged in the removal?
It is one thing to remove "permanently" attached stuff without damage, it is another to remove permanently attached stuff and guarantee everything will be reusable.....
Gentleman, I understand why it's not guaranteed; that's not the question.
I think I've got it covered.
Thanks to those for input, rather than opinions.
I agree but I didn't say anything about it being silver soldered. Neither did the OP. You'd know right away when you tried to rock it loose. Certainly that would change things but I made no mention of even trying to remove one that was silver soldered. Nor did I offer to do it for the OP; therefore, I also guaranteed nothing. I fail to see the relevance of your post.
Rainier has removed one for me and it was reusable.
