I've used the DD chromed BCGs a few times. I did have a flake of machining material left on the last one, but that's been the only issue. I prefer the chrome because it cleans up so easily, and it makes it easy to see what's dirty.
On sale for $150:

^^DD BCG's^^
The total cost, for me, for three BCG's was $492.32 after using coupon given at top of page.
That is a great deal.
You could split the difference between the high-end, as the low-end

I'm not sure Toolcraft should be called middle of the road. The product you listed is an excellent product and we had a reputable member that has seen them in action, in the Marines, and spoke highly of them.
The BCG's are marked 1B1B6- in other words, good stuff.
Good call on Toolcraft.
Just might be the best deal on BCG's, period.
This. These are the only two BCGs I'll ever buy. I use the Sionics in my suppressed 300 SBR (and any future builds that will be mostly shot suppressed) and the BCMs in everything else. You can't go wrong either way. It's lovely to just take a paper towel and just wipe the carrier completely clean on the Sionics.
I understand that the coating on the Sionics is good and from the description it seems likeit is well built. How did they get the reputation similar to that path BCM? The rest of their stuff is very low priced. Not saying it isn't good quality. Just an observation. It seems like if you want the best you could buy a Bcm bcg and send it to robar for the coating. I also noticed that robar sells a np3 coated bcg that looks similar to the young mfg bcg.
Wes Grant at MSTN turned me on to the young mfg bcgs. They have been great.
