Best AR mount for trijicon rmr?

I specified cowitness because I knew the lower 1/3 would raise the optic, and didn't think anything lower than cowitness (like upper 1/3) was an option with flip up sights

Thanks for the info. I did not think about micro sights. The Troy are shorter than standard?anything else like KAC micros?

The Knights Micros are standard M4 height. Troy Micros are shorter to maintain standard cheek weld/sight picture on piston guns with taller rails. The height optic mount you use should be based your shooting style and gun fit. I don't give a rat about cowitness but lower 1/3 height mounts fit me better.

I'm a bit surprised you don't see regular AR's with the shorter (AK/shotgun) mounts and micro sights.
