I'm good on mags. I just happened to be reading this topic and was browsing Apex gun parts site when I happened to see the Cetme mags. Just got curious

I have bought a bunch of BCM mags both the battleship grey and black Teflon finish. Love those mags. I like the 20 rounders for range work.
Well ordered 3 nhmtg mags and they came in today, after handling them and loading them I think I like the pmag gen3 better. The pmags darn sure aren't as sharp loading them up. The corners on the front of the feed lips of these mags are like razors. I'll try em, have one in the truck gun now and loaded the other two up and stowed them with a bunch of other loaded mags in my personal pickup.

Well, I have a number of Pmags, steel and aluminum. They all seem just dandy to me.
Depends on what I'm up to and what I grab, really. Although I've tended towards the aluminum for classes, I guess.
I still use the alum colt mags to this day never had a problem with them. I also use the P mags as well and never had any issues with them as well. I guess it depends. On your budget and availability.
I used to swear by HK steel mags. They are built like tanks, and they are heavy.
There is nothing wrong with USGI aluminum body mags. Look for green or orange followers. I have some heavily worn deployment USGI aluminum mags with P-Mag followers and spring installed…. they work great, and look like hell… warm fuzzies.
No brainer, best bang for the $$$? P-Mag all day long, go for the latest generation. Extremely reliable, inexpensive, near bomb proof and they are everywhere.
The new sand color mags can be dyed, which I like for labeling/sorting.
I have tried other boutique mags, and they were all decent (Troy, and Lancer come to mind). I prefer P-Mags.
There are no universal truths.
HK416 steel magazines are fantastic, as are the indestructible HK G3 magazines. I have scads of C-Products blackened stainless mags and NHMTG aluminum GI magazines that work extremely well also.
I only own roughly 8 or so PMAGS, they work fine as well.
I've had precious few "AR" magazine problems in my life. Perhaps my not owning a tactical beard plays into my good fortune?
I have to say Korean M1 Carbine magazines have been the most problematic in my experience.
