I look at it as being just $20 more than you're already paying. That's nothing. On a $1k? $2k? $3k rifle? B.A.D. is a no-brainer for me.

AXTS also has a metal short throw safety out called the Talon, but it's about the same price as the BAD ST.

I have two BADs and a Talon. The Talon will change between 90° and 45° and doesn't have the lawyer pin like the BAD. I read that the newer BAD STs will change between 90° and 50° or something like that but mine are older models that don't. I think the newer ones still have the pin though.
I have had a Talon since they were first introduced. They cost more then but came with all of the levers. The way the levers attach is superior to a screw in my opinion. No way in hell they will ever fall off. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
I have an AXTS Talon setup for 45* throw with the medium and medium-tapered levers. It is a nice selector.
If you really want short throw for $40... here ya go. Can't get any shorter than that and it's $40.

It wasn't Duffy as he's no longer with BAD and hasn't been for a while. He has his own company now called Forward Controls. I did find the post though. It was wdigeorge.
