OP just spend $30k get a M16 lower, buy a 14.5" barrel, SBR said MG lower, buy a Colt A4 upper, and buy other US equipment that they currently are using, I would recommend going the M203 GL route to save time and hassle with a foregrip. Or you could go to Clydes Armory and buy one of the Contract rifles they are selling with the US GOV roll marks on the lower if you want to save $32000 dollars and a 6-12 month wait time.
I vastly prefer to shoot ARs that have the benefit of the years of evolution that the platform has gone through in the commercial market over those that are in .mil configuration.
Of course, if you're into those, that's your prerogative, but not the way I would spend my money if I wasn't cloning a work gun (which I have done).
Op if you get a 6920 make sure it's pined and welded so you can get a 14.5" barrel. And also to bring the total length to the safe and wise gov. standard of 16".
OP could always join one of the armed forces and have the real thing.:)
Ok so go with the second option i listed if they still have them. Clydes only had 4 of them 2 weeks ago. I didn't think that they would have been selling products that were used in that kinda pace. If they're out of them just Buy a Nodak spud A2 lower and have the proper GOV roll marks added
