It was a viper pst 1-4. After looking through it it came down to swfa or vxr and the weight took me to the vxr. The swfa looks really nice though.
The clicks on the vxr are clean to hear and feel, easily turned by hand, but I havnt had them move and my gun is constantly moving around not in a case. I feel they could be improved a little, but are functionally sound. Though I have no other scopes to compare them with.
All 3 are great scopes, 2 are geared towards longer range with the reticles. It may help if you rank your priorities and mark where each scope falls in each priority. Obviously trying them out would help a lot. I'd try to find a local shop with them available to look through. Honestly, the only reason I went vxr over swfa was weight and the mtion sensor sealed the deal.. Other than that, the swfa looks almost perfect on paper.
