Green or Red dot Trijicon Accupower

I have read the same thing. Green is in the middle of the visible spectrum of light which is supposed to make it easy for the eyes to detect.

For me and where I live (sagebrush Martian landscape between Sierra Nevadas and the Rockies), green is far easier to see/pick up quicker than red. However, at night, I find green to be overpowering as compared to red.

I chose green. I don't really need or use illumination in daylight, however it's nice for looking into shadow or dark areas and for me the green stands out better than red against a dark background. Those pics above represent the green hue very well in the accupower, not sure about red. Good luck with your choice.

It sure looks like it, I was only speaking about the hue/tint of the green color. To my eyes anyway.
