Years ago most gun smiths could work on a 1911 and give it back running ok. I'm not referring to custom work other than sights. Not so today. So, 1911 purchasers might keep this fact in mind.

You could always send your 1911 to Wilson or nighthawk for your custom work. SACS seems to have issues here and there.

Still waiting on the damned holster to get to the range and practice draws and such. Been limited on time so I have only put 150 rounds through it. So far I can say it's very soft shooting and puts rounds where I want them. I'm going on vacation this week and taking a case of ammo to break this thing in. I'll have more updates when I get to the range on vacation.
