There are many different loads the Armed Forces are using, but I believe most are using the M855 as stated. I believe that M855 is 62gr, IIRC.

The milspec LMT barrels are 1:7 twist and I find they love from 60-77 grainers.

Can you guys come on and tell us what the barrel problem was when you know. Even though mine worked I would like to know what the deal was.
Thanks!
My shipment was just delivered today and I won't be back until the end of next week. It will be difficult to wait.
I just got this pic last night. Hopefully this shipment doesn't have any of the out of spec chamber issues. It does look like a nice complete package for $1995. Trying to wait until next Friday will be difficult.

Looks good AnchorArmament. Is that an LMT upper & lower?
Yes. It is the complete LMT carbine as it comes from LMT. I thinks it's a nice, complete package.
I would like to keep one for myself. I am trying to decide between using an LMT lower with a tan SOPMOD stock and 2 stage trigger or building a new lower from an SMOS billet lower I have.
Unfortunately, I won't see it for another week, as I am out of town right now.
We ordered them to sell, but I would like to keep one of them. I have the last SMOS stripped billet lower (Same as LaRue's Billet lower) sitting in the safe waiting for the upper receiver order to come in. I think the SMOS billet lower will compliment the MRP piston upper.
Since the complete carbines came in before the uppers, I now have to decide what to do :D
WOOHOO !!! ordered my piston LMT at SHOT show and I got it today!!
The down side is I am still at work and it's still in the box, but only one more hour and I get to play with my new toy!!
