Perfectly legal if you had 100's of them as it should be. Not a problem. I had some windows put in a rental and the owner told me he had 100's of shotguns. If you're legal so is your collection.

I lost all of mine in a boating crash.
I lost all of my 4473'd ARs when my runaway boat crashed into those occupied by other members of this forum during a get together.
Only 2 currently. Well, 1 full one. The other is waiting for the Form 1 to get the stamp (filed it last month).
A million.
Come get me.
But seriously, I do okay.
I'm pretty sure the government is going to have a hard time figuring out where every single one of the 12 million+ legally-owned ARs are, even with all the 4473 forms that have been filled out. And as long as registration isn't required it will likely remain that way. But if they really wanted to know if I owned one all they'd need to do is follow the bread crumbs I leave every time I place an order with Midway or Brownells. That and I probably wouldn't be hanging out on an AR forum if I didn't.
As they say in /r/airforce...
Nice try OSI.
