I was thinking of using the CASV-M with an LMT 10.5 upper and low profile gas block. Does anyone have any pics of this set up? I was wondering how much of the barrel it covers. Thanks

I've got the CASV-EL on a LMT 16'' barrel. You have to take the front sling swivel off and it goes almost to the end of the front sight post.
Thanks. I am looking at the mid length thou. It would cover the gas block and is not cut out for a fixed front sight. How do you like yours? I may go with the carbine length on my 16inch LMT.
mid length CASV is about 9" long from the end of the delta ring, just a touch longer on the sides. It should cover a lo pro gas block easily. It's not quite what you're looking for but check out. There is a picture of the CASV-M with a Noveske Diplomat barrel, 7.5" IIRC.

password and login for the pictures is: mm
Thanks. Was wondering what length barrel that was in the pic.
I haven't done any extended shooting with my LMT yet but so far I do like it.
Tag -- Anyone have any pics on a 10.5? The 7.5 on MM looks uber-sweet, but I just can't bring myself to make that ballistic leap just yet.
If my memory serves me right,
The Midlength CAS-V, extends just to the end of the LMT 10.5 FSB (after being cut down).
Then you have about a half an inch and then start your KX3. Personally I think a AAC blackout looks better and gives you more options.
I'd just leave it alone, but it bugs my buddy so bad he wants to cut down the barrel to at least 10".
I'd like to see pics of this as well
I ended up getting the LMT 10.5 with the 7.0 Larue from you a few months back. I have been to the shop and handled your SBR can only CASV-M. It is super cool. If it had not been for the LMT with the Larue hiding in the bottom of your glass case I would have gone with the CAS-V.
