On my sample of one BCM 16in Mid Length running an A5H2 and a SpringCo Green, it has run so far with PMC Bronze .223, Wolf Gold 55gr, and Fiocchi 55gr .223 and all locked the bolt back with no problems. I am tempted to order a A5H3 to give it a try.

Fingers crossed a black Friday deal comes around on the A5 kit!
I just built this gun and it runs as good as your going to get a gun to run. With can off and AAC brake, muzzle doesn't move. I've always felt a suppressor creates a small gallop in the recoil. It's just the gas working through the can.
I would say it has the correct size gas port vs a dramaticly reduced gas port. But that's semantics and opinion to some extent.
I think muzzle devices effect muzzle jump more than A5 Etc. It does smooth out the recoil for sure, but muzzle is different in my opinion.

I am the big time fan boy of the A5 system. And like others, see no downside and put them on almost all my guns. I have a UBR, so I didn't bother and have rifle systems so I didn't but they impress me beyond reason.
I think the A5 is the number one upgrade I recommend to new AR owners to improve reliability and performance. I have SBR's that run freakishly smooth and just don't budge when firing. Note, they have a AAC brake which makes a difference too. Ive done a fair amount of comparing and A5 is a noticeable upgrade.
Simplisticly elegant !

Changing to the rifle like or A5 over the carbine type of action is probably one of the best upgrades you can do to the carbine like action system for function for most users.
Until recently, I had discounted the A5 system as unnecessary since I've never had problems with cycling in any of my rifles. However, the sheer volume of support for the A5 system has made it impossible to ignore any longer, and I've decided to try it out on my current build. Based on what I've read in the past, I expect that I'm going to love it...
That's what I thought. To be honest though I really can't tell much of a difference. Either way, I have several that use it and plan on putting one on every rifle except for probably one. I am kind of surprised that my 14.5 BCM can run PMC with an A5H3 buffer. Makes me want to try an A5H4 in the Noveske.
