Unless you have the spring and plunger on hand you are probably going to order them....do yourself a favor, order them from Brownell's and while you are at it throuw this in the cart for $18.00:

If you follow the advice of an earlier poster and do not punch the roll pin completely out you can easily use a pair of pliers to reset the roll pin and then one single tap with the roll pin punch for final placement.
I've seen it done with regular pliers with just duct tape wrapped around the jaw; I use some vise grip looking channel locks I got at Lowe's - the jaws slide together parallel as you squeeze them. I use tape to pad the jaws.
