I know in the bolt world, Jewell is one of the top dogs, isn't the Jewell adjustable AR trigger any good? All those weird extra parts that come with it, make reliability decrease? That big cog looking thing, that's a pull weight adjustment setting, correct?
And yes, I too love my Timney, but I keep hearing everyone talk bad about the 3 lb. versions not being strong enough to detonate hard primers - the one I own is a 4 lb. I believe, and has never misfired - but I would prefer a lighter pull weight.
Is the trigger in my S&W M&P15T a 2 stage? What does this mean exactly? single stage and 2 stage? The trigger on my Smith is extremely good for a factory AR trigger, it is a little heavy, but it's not all gritty with tons of creep like other AR triggers are... if I were a good trigger'smith, I'd just customize my self.. Like I said, this rifle is going to be used primarily for 100 - 400m shooting, so precision is paramount. Thanx for all the helpful replies thus far!
