Some of questionable quality wear out before the barrel XD
I would get a new GB even if it had not been green loctite'd if it had been on a barrel for 20k rounds. BCM sells them for $45. Well worth the cost for peace of mind IMO. I'd get a new gas tube also. If you can buy all that ammo, you can very likely afford a new block and tube to go along with your new barrel.
The only part anyone would consider to not be consumable is the lower receiver. I doubt most even care unless its an MG lower, as a few of the $400 colt lowers will last for your lifetime and mine.
