No, 17K's is a standard mount, mine is extended but on an NX8 instead of an ATACR.
WS6, the cantilevered portion of the geissele mount does not make contact with the handguard in any way.

The way they index on the Vs contributes to their exceptional return to zero.
Not an ATACR but here you can see there's a bit of space between the cantilevered part of the mount and the rail.

My mounts look like SteveL's above. All my G 30mm mounts have had a visiable gap between the top of the picatinny to the mount's main arm.
ATACR huh...let me know what you think when you get it.

I know Geissele makes great stuff, but I really like the idea of QD levers in the event you need to use iron sights.
I'm mounting another atacr in a geissele extended mount this weekend on my hodge 14.5. I'll send pics when finished.
