Really?
Did they come up with a reason or just realized it on the targets?

When we are matching up 16" (or 14.5") chrome-lined barrels with 55 gr / 62 gr military ball ammo, I have a feeling that any "accuracy increase" from a fancy aftermarket flash hider is really going to be a preoccupation with inconsequential increments.
+1 to scottryan... makes sense on a shorty.
I have a vortex on my 7.62 GAP bolt gun- shoots around 1/2 MOA depending on how much coffee I drink. I have honestly not shot without it, but it obviously doesn't hurt accuracy.
A couple of weeks ago I purchased a ACC Blackout from Grant at GR Tactical. Mounted it a few days ago with no problems. By a stroke of luck, it aligned perfectly on my LMT 16" upper, though alignment is not important. Went to the range today and shot my new setup. I didn't do any comparison testing, but I swear it improved my rifles accuracy with LC XM193 FMJ.
