There's enough information that suggests corona isn't much different than a cold or flu among those under 65. But it can and does hit the elderly hard, particularly those with underlying respiratory and immune system issues.
Instead of shutting down America from coast to coast, how about we just ask those 65 and older (15% of the US population) to stay home for a bit. Many are retired anyway. Instead of local, state and federal governments chasing their tail testing countless millions of people and all the other things they're trying to do, focus on bringing food and meds to the elderly at home. Family, friends, neighbors, church, local community, as well as Amazon, UPS and FedEx. Setup a hotline phone bank and websites for the elderly. Let the rest of America go on with their lives.
