Ok, Brosnans first movie was just OK, I haven't seen it in 15 yrs probably, should watch it again.
I agree about him though, I was excited to learn he got the JB role.

Hehe...in the books he likes custom 1930's luxury hot rods. Custom as in he'll have a Bentley chassis with another make supercharged drivetrain. Which could actually be done pretty easily back then.
He had real problems during car chases (including a crash that could have killed him) because he'd be chasing or being chased by a far more capable car than his powerful land yacht. But, he dug the style and dumped most of his money into them, keeping only small places to live.
Basically, he liked big, handsome muscle cars. Maybe today Ian Fleming would have him drive a Dodge Challenger? Nah, not exotic enough for Bond.
I didn't read the books but that was supposedly much closer to the Ian Fleming books, so I thought that might be the way forward with Craig, and I though that was great. Then they had to go and F it up as you outlined above. I'd rather just have the old camp tongue in cheek Bond, then the last few Bond movies.
Least Favorite: Anything with Roger Moore, but especially The Man With the Golden Gun & Moonraker.
Most favorite: As much as I like Sean Connery a the classic Bond, Goldfinger being my favorite, I prefer the Daniel Craig movies with Casino Royale being my favorite.
Those were so bad!
The book Moonraker (SPOILER ALERT!) was ONE small nuclear warhead snuck onboard ONE rocket under the guise of a test. (The whole operation run by the villain) A Russian sub was also involved.
Not good enough for the movie though 🙄🙄🙄
Nah, they needed a fleet of subs, stolen subs, stolen space craft, 8 space shuttles, a perfect genetic engineered super-human race and poisonous satellites threatening to kill all humans on earth. 😖😖😳😳🙄🙄🤭🤭
Just stupid. That's Star Trek not James Bond.
