That would not surprise me. In jurisdictions where an individual who isn't "connected" cannot get a permit, "private security guards" can; New York City is a perfect example. The issue isn't whether the 2nd is for everyone, it's whether BLM turns into another Weather Underground. They seem to have a little bit of that DNA IMO.

A shoot out breaks out between such and such city police and an armed group claiming that they are BLM “peace officers”, the police were trying to serve a warrant when long bursts of fully automatic weapons fire engaged the police. The BLM “peace officers” have retreated but called into a local radio show with their demands.........

It certainly is. But the fact is that BLM generally opposes all police, and America in general. If they can join all the non-BLM gun activists in telling the government to take their gun bans and shove them, I'm all for it.
