I have had very good luck with RRA and Stap LPK's. The only issues I've had with DPMS, was with the roll pins for the trigger guard and bolt catch. I needed to use a pair of vice grips to pinch them together to get them to fit.
I have a DPMS LPK in a Double Star Lower. Yes, the roll pins were a pain. Other than that, no issues.
BTW, let me know how you like the CAV lower.....I've debated buying one.
Well, they are currently a good buy at $125 + S&H = 138.xx at DSG Arms (OD and tan in stock, black out).
I like it. seems well put together and I put my 6920 upper on it to test and it was very solid, no play what so ever in my case. I was pleased by that. Weather whatever upper I end up getting for it will be the same I don't know, but think it will be a winner.
Loosing the collapsible stock is a minus, but not a big one really... and the storage compartment in the stock can come in handy. Plus I have a little on parts that are already built in.
It affordable, less expansive to put together and something a little different. I don't regret it one bit, especially sense I walked out with a Stag lower too and a decent price, by today's standards.
Still no luck with LPK's. I'm thinking about getting a two White Oak LPK. One with with Magpul enhanced trigger guard for the Stag lower and RAA trigger groups from ADCO. I already have a Hogue grip for the stag. They are back ordered, but so is just about everyone else.
White Oak a good way to go?
