Sling Point Options...why?
I've read Zak Smith's excellent sling article, but wanted to know the why of particular sling (2 point) setups. If there are 4 common attachment points I will call A, B, C, D.
A is at the FSB
B is at the front of receiver
C is at the rear of Receiver
D is at or near the heel or toe of buttstock
The Why or pros and cons of: (what little I think know is listed)
A to D? All D points hang more muzzle down for safety
A to C? Better for strong to weak transitions
B to D?
B to C?
God Bless
