Daniel Defense has a receiver endplate mount called Burnsed which will put you at position C with an A1/A2 stock. I've read at calguns or somewhere that a car endplate can be filed to work as well, but if you go with DD, they include the proper length screw and new spacer. Avoids WECSOG for $35.
The more I think about it and mess around with exact positions of the sling clips, I'm thinking B-D is totally satisfactory on my CTR stock, and for no money I can strap up my A2 stock like the BFG adapter and go B-D there as well. I have a car endplate mount in the box, but don't feel like going through the work to break the staking, nor to file it to fit the A2 stock...so I'm cheap and lazy, if what I'm running works as-is.
If anyone has lots of experience to show B-C is hands-down better than B-D, I guess I'll try it. But in the meantime, I'm happy.
