Aimpoint M2 in either ADM AD-68L or LaRue LT-152.
I like the CASV.
Do you have any pics.
what co-witness are you running.
Lower 1/3.
I am using an A.R.M.S. #17 now i think i have the 1/3 co-witness. Do you like the CASV system. have you had any trouble with it.
You can remove the rails your not using, 1/3 co-witness mean the front post is 1/3 when looking through your sights.????
Yes, I know that, you can see in the picture I didn't have too much stuff on there.
1/3 cowitness is looking directly through the optic and having the front sight in the lower 1/3 of your optic. When you scrunch your neck down and look through the irons, then the dot or reticle lines up with front and rear sights.
I love it. I'm running the SOPMOD Eotech SU-236 (Civ 553) BUIS are not co- witnessed, but the height of the Eotech I barely can see the A-2 front sight. Don't care if it goes down I'll pop it off. The CASV-EL is a great piece of kit. Sturdy, rock solid and has that nice Dark Earth color LOL!
CASV looks great and is built rock solid, I like it because i can mount my AIMPOINT on it and keep it low so it isnt sticking up high like a satalite dish like others i saw. You get that low phttp://www.forumjpg.com/userImages/6...1866356021.JPG5381866393398.JPG[/img]rofile look.

suggestion.......
move the rail your light is on to the angled section for an easier reach with your thumb.
:D
I thought about getting the pressure switch for it.
Aimpoint Comp C3 with a MI Buis.
I've got one coming in, has anyone felt the need to loctite the upper rail or is it solid just the way it is?
I put locktite on the main rail screws just to be safe but i dont think you need to it is a very strong system.
Looks very nice, What type of aimpoint mount are you using.
It's an adjustable height mount I had in my spare parts box, don't remember the maker. With the extra height of the CASV rail I wanted my Comp C3 to sit as low as possible.
I always liked the look of the low profile. I used to have a adm mount that sit real high and looked stupid, the CASV raises up the top of the receiver so you dont need to go with the high mount, Some of these AR's you see the AIMPOINT looks like a satalite dish on top.
I had my EO Tech on before but I couldn't co-witness the sight with my BUIS so I put that on my Bushmaster/S&W 5.45 Ar and got the Comp C3 for the LMT.
Do you have a 1/3 cowitness now wth the aimpoint.
Nope....sits right on top of the front sight post.
I am running an A.R.M.S #17 mount and i get a 1/3 out of that. or dam close to it.
I had an ARMS but I'm using a MI ARS now. On the Bush/S&W I have a Matech. I'm kinda sorry I got rid of the ARMS, I liked that better than the Matech.
arms are very durable
I have the CASV elg with Aimpoint T1 red dot and a mount from american defense that they built specifically for the CASV. I like it a lot
I am not saying i know everything like most of you do, I am just speeking from what little experience i do have with the eqipment i use.
