Are the poor quality? Do they rattle?
I think they haeve that "cool" factor!

IMHO, they are expensive for what you get. They look functional but I do not believe their adjustment is as strong as other stocks.
I also believe it says on their website that they are not made to handle heavy recoil where a Magpul, Vltor, standard carbine stock will take the recoil from a 12 gauge.
If ACE ever decides to beef up their adjustment I would be interested. You may find more info if you try the search feature on the home page. I think this topic gets discussed every now and again.
i've seen one that was improperly installed. the spring for the rear takedown pin was crushed in the adjustment clamp of that stock. poor design IMO.
Never had a problem with mine. Have about 1,000 rounds on it. It is my favorite, so I am glad no one uses it:D
Looking for another one.

the meat tenderizer!
I own a number of pieces of Ace equipment - they make good gear, but it can be quite maddening waiting for them tho actually SHIP what you've ordered from 'em!
Had one, hated it, sold it............
Better stocks with more adjustment.. a lot more comfortable with better check weld and storage...
There's a reason you don't see a lot of them.. that should be a clue..;) There are better options...
I used one on one rifle for a while and replaced it with a Sully when I stuck a new upper on it.
Mine actually had play in the receiver - the buffer tube moved laterally in the receiver even when the clamping piece was properly torqued down.
In my last carbine class, another guy had one and his did the same thing.
I solved the issue by using teflon tape on the tube threads to take up the slack. That worked but didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy.
It wasn't a bad stock though (usage wise), I though it was fine to shoot with.
I think they have that foam stuff on them. I never liked that material. It is hard for me to imagine wanting a stock other than Magpul.
My adjustment mechanism stripped, twice. First time I fixed it with salvaged parts. Second time ACE did not respond to my questions. It's a weak design in that regard.
Could not get the stock tight in the receiver - there's no way to apply tension to the thread. Ended up using locktite, which caused other problems.
Mediocre cheekweld.
The foam collects dirt and debris, and tears easily when used hard.
They do look great though, don't they?
I now have an VLTOR emod, works fine.
Never cared for how they felt. Always felt like I wanted to roll my head across the top of the stock due to the design. I much prefer the Vltor Emod.
