I dont doubt you shot em, but as stated above it coulda been with a combonation of air pressure and temp. that made it work in YOUR case. The consensus here is that over all (across the board) Heavier bullets need sharper twists. Thats not to say somthing like your case cant happen on a good day either. Oh, by the way im no author either:D BTW rsilvers how much does that app cost and how extensive is it? Im getting ready to search for it on my phone.
I should have one in a few weeks, my boss is going to have me put a metric ***load of ammo through it for my opinion and to see if it'll hold up.

I wasn't joking, as Ruger is a new comer to the AR industry I only thought it professional to expect callers like "Iraqguns". And I don't think it's too much too expect them to educate their employees on yes and no questions (except the extractor and insert)
