No, I KNOW you get the good stuff early!
I just didn't believe the 3 month prior statement. I thought they were saying it went from the drawing board to SHOT in that time.

Three months of sleepless nights and long stress filled days sounds about right.
Magpul is getting crap on another forum with people saying that since the UBR took so long, that the Masada will take years and couldn't have been done anywhere close to three months.
The end answer is that the Magpul crew busts their collective asses to get things done, but even they run into snags when they are forced to deal with outside manufacturers. I would like to see them available for commercial sales in 12 months or less, and I'm sure they would as well. If the people they deal with are able to meet timetables as forecasted, I'm sure it will happen.

It's clean. Grant's got this nice feature built in that tells you when you've got a full inbox too...
Stickman was sent a non-firing weapon made from SLS and SLA rapid prototyping materials for photographs. In fact, if any of you have Masada posters from SHOT, that is one of Stickman's photos. The weapon itself is the culmination of years of experience with the AR platform, and months of research and drawings in attempt to make a polymer lower receiver for the AR. The polymer lower was designed, and redsigned, and redesigned again until the project was simply scrapped, and they started from "scratch" a few months back by abandoning the AR platform.Quote:

IIRC that Masada was sent to him some time in November only a few days after WE got to play with it for the first time. The internal parts were finished only days before SHOT, allowing us to test fire the weapon before the show.

nice photo as always, stick :)
I'm not sure, to be perfectly honest. Stick was told about the project before he received the plastic mock up, and I know he got that at least a month back. Either way, he really enjoyed holding it over your heads. :pQuote:
