Was just looking around TOS and seen a thread on this topic. Some guys have BCG's that have a condition where the forward assist grooves are transfered down into the top edge of the lower rail. I have 2 BCG's right in front of me still in the bag and I'll be dang if one of them has these marks and the other don't. I just ordered a 3rd BCG not more than 5 min ago - oh yeah, they are in stock again.
I'll see if I can take a pic through the bag and post it. Tried to call Paul and ask about it but got the machine and I don't know if they are even still in at this hour.
Anyone else seen this? Is this normal (I wouldn't think so)? Seems to me like it could cause wear in the upper? It may be alright but I'd feel a lot better if the cuts weren't there.
