zeroed at 25yds- what is my point of aim at 50 yds, 75 yds, 100 yds and 150 yds?
For the 10.5" MK18 I would advise the 50yd/M zero and the trajectory is within an inch of a 16" barrel.

Thanks for the data. I am under the assumption that this was applied using Colt Commando MK18 CQBR with green tip. I will confirm today and post any deviation. Thanks again.
I would agree on the 50 yard zero. less bullet rise and drop.
You should consider a 50yd ZERO, below is mine.
My 10.5" gun w/55gr FMJ doing 2550fps, 50yd ZERO w/HOB of 3.5" (Aimpoint H1 in a DD mount) :
25yds -1.6"
50yds 0.0"
75yds 1.2"
100yds 2.1"
125yds 2.5"
150yds 2.5"
175yds 1.9"
200yds 0.9"
225yds -0.7"
250yds -2.9"
Same gun if I used a 25yd ZERO:
25yds 0.0"
50yds 3.1"
75yds 5.9"
100yds 8.2"
125yds 10.2"
150yds 11.7"
175yds 12.7"
200yds 13.2"
225yds 13.1"
250yds 12.5"
The data was derived using a 10.5" MK18 upper from LMT (who actually supplied MK18 CQBR upper receivers to SOPMOD) but not with 62gr Green Tip ammo. The ammo used was 55gr FMJ.
Deviation from point of aim out to 175yds will still be within an inch with M855 though.

Just an FYI, but the Colt Commando and the MK18 are NOT the same weapon.
Commando
Mk. 18
Most important difference to this discussion is the Commando has a pencil (.625") 11.5" barrel while the Mk. 18 has either a 10.3" Gov't profile barrel (chopped M4 barrel or Colt contract barrel) or a 10.5" Gov't profile barrel (LMT contract upper).
I don't know how much of a bearing this will have on the discussion at hand as I would still use a 50 yard (or meter) zero, but it is worth noting.
Appreciate the feedback. I actually took notes to range and experimented. Zeroed at 25 (engagements will most likely be within that range). From the 50 (kneeling) 3" drop -good shot group-from the 100 (prone) 7" drop- rounds did not rise 7" . This was done on irons and Aimpoint comp2-no magnifier. Point of aim from 100 on FBI target was approx 5" low to impact center mass in approx. 4-5" shot group. Satisfying day on the range. I will seriously look into zeroing at the 50. Thanks again.
How did you zero at 25 and not have the bullet over the POA at distance? I'm confused.
