I sent one to him for my 2nd AR, fedex showed it delivered, but he never got it. Sent him another check and cancelled the one with my original trigger, along with extra for a FCG from him directly instead of me trying to find one on the internet, get to me, and then send it to him. His communication is top notch and his work is great! I have the 3.5 trigger for my 20" scoped rifle and am very pleased with it. trigger control is a lot easier with the lighter trigger to say the least, and much more accurate, which is what i was looking for.
Total turn around for all the troubles and receiving my nifty trigger was about a month. not all of it was his fault.

I've got two, light and crisp, and for the price it is a no brainer.

+1 for Mr. Springfield. I had trouble w/a Bushmaster trigger he worked on. He spent time with me on the phone trying to troubleshoot it, and then told me to send it back in. He replaced it, no questions asked, and the new trigger works exactly as advertised -- no creep, very crisp break, little over-travel.

Received mine today.
Very nice so far dry firing...
Can't wait to hit the range this weekend for some live fire.
ETA:
Spent some quality time today at the range with both ARs.
Triggers work as advertised. Very nice short reset, no creep, very clean break.

Bill has been very responsive to my challenges so far, and I'm looking for help...not to criticize. Perhaps someone here can troubleshoot this and save both Bill and I more hassle...
I have tried 2 of his 4 lb triggers, both of which double on the reset when doing the safety check. This happened a few times with one lower separated from the upper, and both do it when doing the safety check with the upper installed. Specifically: after pulling the trigger and holding it back, cocking the hammer to reset, then--while easing the trigger forward to reset--the hammer falls WITHOUT pulling the trigger.
Too weird that this would happen with separate triggers, on different lowers (Charles Daly and RRA). Help?

If everything else is OK the disconnector is probably releasing the hammer too soon. It is an easy fix but can cause a lot of trouble if not done right. If you have one, try changing out the disconnector for a start.
I have never seen one of Bill's trigger jobs but if he reduces the sear engagement by shortening the "shelf" on the hammer it could cause this problem.

Replaced the modified disco with a new one: hammer still falls while resetting.
-
Sounds like time to send it back to its maker.

small little bump...
anybody else use him for their triggers?...any people advise against using him?

I have one and my BIL has 4. No problems and they're smooth. Mine's a standard 4lb and the BIL's are 3lbs.
