im sorry to upset you, but i go to the range every weekend. my brain and eyes pick up a blur at the bottom of my t1 on ggg mount with 3x magnified and 1 eye open. mabey it is my setup but i see it. as stated before mabey i see it and others dont. to each his own.

I'm not upset. I frankly couldn't care less what you're doing, or that you're doing it wrong. I'm just pointing it out for you, and it's up to you to correct yourself or not. and I thought I'd point out to anyone else reading this that you're doing it wrong, so that they don't think that your results are typical, or correct.
I'm not saying it's not there, I'm saying that if you're affected by it (or frankly notice it at all when you're shooting) you're doing it wrong.
While Rob is certainly being a dick (sorry, bro), I think his point is completely valid.
It reminds me of the blue tint Short Dot complaints. If you see the tint, while you are shooting under stress, you are doing it wrong.
If you see the sights, or the blur of the sights distracts you under stress -- when you are not specifically using the irons -- with a RDS, you are doing it wrong.
The proper word is focus. If you get distracted by the blur, or the sights presence, your focus is all wrong.
you guys have way more time behind a rifle than i do. i believe what you are saying is true. and i will take your advise and try to work on it. but the op asked if anyone could see the front sight and i simply replied that i could see it. my eyes also have problems focusing on the eotech circle after 20-30 sec looking at my target down range it becomes a blur then starts to fade away. my aimpoint dot always looks like 2 dots blurred together. i dont wear glasses or contacts and dont need them. i must be doing something wrong. i am focusing as hard as i can at the target not the dot.
Which model aimpoint? What size dot? How far forward is your aimpoint mounted? What brightness setting do you have it at?Quote:
