How do I like it? I don't really use the mag well grip, so this isn't a really necessary piece to use. I bought one to try out, and it's definitely more low profile than other current magwell grip models while giving decent gripping since it's made from a rubber material. Goes on easily w/o any tools either. The extra width it adds to the mag well does help with grip once you are accustomed to it.
Unless you're always having your support hand on the mag well, it's really not needed.
Bad habit I got into in the Army, gripping the magwell. You really can control the weapon with your support hand pushed as far out as is comfortable.
And if the rifle kabooms, it will blow out the magazine, and can damage your hand...
You'll have better control and accuracy of shot placement in driving the gun, if you use your VFG as a hand index, pulling the weapon into your shoulder. That thing has as much functionality as the accuwedge. None.
Thanks for the info.......I'll start looking at VFGs.
