I would. I've been a Colt man my whole life. The DDM4 offers just as much attention to detail and more flexibility.
The proprietary aspects of the 6940 are a drawback, and Colt stopped caring about civilian markets a long time ago.
Yes, like that. I like the idea of the free float rails I just don't need them to extend past the FSB. Not that there is anything wrong with them, the aesthetics just don't appeal to me. I guess I've seen too many standard M4s.
Now adding a KAC RAS to the DDXV (or another quality rail) really appeals to me. I would now say the top three on my 'next M4' list would be a 6920, BCM and now the DDXV. When the piggy bank is full I guess I'll start scratching my head:p
Interesting, I am considering selling my Noveske N4 Basic and replacing it with a 6940.
