Would any manufacturer recommend adding suppressor to their rifle?
Unless they have tested it they have no idea how it would effect performance/reliability.
I don't want to speak for companies I don't work for - but I can't image LMT, BCM, Noveske, or even Spikes having issues with you putting suppressors on their rifle and I am sure there many others that wouldn't either...
A guy at the range had the Ruger when I was there. I let him have my brass as I dont have the stuff to reload...he let me shoot 30rds out of his gun. Ive never shot a suppressed weapon before so it was a bit novel. The gun was fun to shoot except one minor detail, I'm a southpaw and the gases are forced out of the breach. I had to stop every three rounds due to the heavy ammonia gases in my face. I assume that it because of the "can" but i would rather just shoot my bushmaster.
Technically a suppressor isn't good for any weapon. Increasing the dwell time of gasses causes more heat per round to be generated, and that means accelerated wear.
Not good doesn't say much.
I think a Ruger M4 was a good idea, but that they should have gone DI with the hammer forged barrel and rail system for cheaper.
