I have no experience with LMT but being the stick in the mud that I am, and your determined to get something other then another Colt, I say go with the BCM. I have both and you can't go wrong with Bravo Co.

There are quite a few rifles that are pretty much same spec. Yes BCM makes their own stuff. While I have had no dealings with BCM personally, and being a proud LMT owner...You CAN'T really go wrong with either.
Pick what your little heart desires, so to speak...both are def. good 2 go
BCM does not make their own stuff from the ground up, at least as far as the lowers go. From TOS...a response from the horses mouth. Scroll down about half ways.

I have an LMT. I want a complete BCM mid. Both make very good equipment. Can't go wrong with either.
the last two LMTs that I bought were really well done.
Not one problem with either of them

Never heard that one about LMT or BCM being rebranded.
Stag and S&W, among others, are often brought up in that regard, claiming same source parts, etc... It's often used by folks to make themselves feel better in their poor quality choice after, they find the "chart".:p
Both are great brands with solid reputations. However, I think that BCM is overall the better of the two.
I like LMT stuff a lot but they do have somewhat hit or miss QC for little things.
Not that it matters much but wildly uneven FSB ears, staking of castle nuts can be off, grip screw holes misaligned, et cetera.
Ive probably owned at least 5 LMT uppers, a few lowers, and other small parts. They all shoot well but its just little oddities that I see.
I also have two BCM uppers and they are both what an upper should be.
Can't go wrong with either just inspect the LMT closely for little stuff.
