Everything but the grip and some washers are made in house.

Respose from DD:
Thank you for your interest in Daniel Defense and our products. We manufacture many of the components in our Lower Reciever Parts Kits. Pretty much the only items that we don't manufacture are the pistol grip and springs. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
If the LPK can handle what I can dish out it'll be good to go I hope
Perhaps they mean it in the same sense that BCM does. They could order the parts to their specs and inspect them. They could also perform some of the final manufacturing processes in house.
Basically doing more than just repackaging CMT LPKs. They do look very similar to the LMT lower parts kits.

DD makes LPK's like I and BCM make LPK's.
They (like us and BCM) buy parts from companies that do not sell to the puplic and call them "ours."
Even if the company has their name stamped into the side of it (like LMT) does not mean that they actually make the part. They do however finish machining the parts in house.
Now just because a company doesn't make them in house, does not mean that they suck. Companies can do their own QC and be very picky where the parts come from.

So where would you rank a DD LPK related to yours, BCM's, LMT, Colt, and Stag?
I do not rank LPK because companies can switch parts on a dime. So if the parts are quality this week, they might not be next week.
How I look at it is if the parts did not come from Colt or FN then they are are going to always be second tier and then we are just splitting hairs.
If you find a LPK that works for you, then that is what matters.
For the most part I really only have experience with CMT, LMT and ours. All have worked for me. YMMV.
