Ditto. Particularly the last.

Just one for me, tethered el/win covers. Everything else is superb.
Ummmm...10 years of continuous use?
;)
I mean...he asked!
The 4 MOA dot at 300 yards is only 12". Still not big enough to encompass the width of the adverage adult males chest (19-20" IIRC), and if you're shooting past 300 yards you're going to elevate the sights so the dot won't obscure the target.
Not trying to be mean, but this is a bad idea. For as much torque as many folks like to put on things, this would not end well. I've seen 2032 cells break due to people forcing them. Especially considering that you can use about anything to open with the notch. Coin, screwdriver, knife blade, spent shell casing.
We have been using the T-1 at work since they came out. We love them and have not had any issues. I would like to see the following:
1. Flip up covers. Just faster and easier. My guys do not have to worry about losing them. I know that as soon as someone here loses one and I have to get a replacement everyone is going to be thinking about that instead of the fight they are walking into. Just the way it is.
2. 2 MOA dot. I just like the 2 MOA better.
3.Tethered by wire adjustment caps.
4. Longer run time. My guys never turn them off. We get about a year to 18 months out of a batter.
5. Wouldn't mind seeing the optical tube being larger but the over all size staying relatively the same. Not a big deal but if we are dreaming.
We run the LaRue mount and I wish they would make a protrusion on the front of it to tether it to the rifle. Better yet a VERY solid, locked to the gun, non-QD version so we could mount them to motor units without worrying about someone stealing them off the bikes.
I would like larger screws, not that they are needed mechanically, it is just an anal retentive thing, since they are into Aluminum......
A longer rear lense housing to keep the cover off the fricking lens.. or just flip ups (preferred).
A 2 moa dot, just cause I like the versatility and smaller target capability of the 2 moa. And, since everyone is using a T1 as a primary, the logic that drove the M4 to 2moa should apply, shouldn'd it?

I put one on my SBR. Had the LT660 on it but didn't need the quick release. Very solid and a great mount.
I have a few other LaRue's for other applications and love them, but the DD mount on my SBR kicks ass.
Well as long as we are dreaming...
Bloom/Astigmatism-free Red Dot Technology
I get a little streaking blooming no matter what intensity setting I have it on. It is not horrible, but it would be awesome if they could make them in a way that you just have a perfect dot no matter what eyes are looking at it. On a related note, I get that perfect dot when I look through my small aperture peep; something about doing that makes all the streaking and blooming go away.
Quick Yardage Adjustment Setting
The ability to dial in different zeros and the ability to toggle between them. So maybe there is nob with 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 settings. You zero each of them for that distance, POA/POI. These positions are then kept in 'memory', so as you rotate that dial, the dot moves up and down to the position you left it. As long as you know your yardage you are good to go; no more hold over. Think of it as a customizable BDC; any ammo, any AO.
