Don't know what the LED "life span" is, but I can tell you I have never burned one out and have never seen or heard of one burning out
Can't remember how long I have had the Aimpoint M2, it was right after they came out. It has been switched off about a dozen times in the last decade or so (for a couple of hours) and has never had an issue. I replace the batteries once a year
I've heard numerous reports of original mil M2's eventually going dim but that's after who knows how many thousands of hours of constant use.Quote:

I bought a Trijicon Reflex (RX01NSN) for my new LMT Defender rifle. It is a great optic that is used by SOCOM. Best of all, it is not a Eotech or Aimpoint; different is good.
