Interesting Issue, need input.
So I was out shooting this weekend and had an interesting issue firing some PMC .223 rounds.
I was shooting some loose PMC rounds out of my buddies ammo can and every 7th or so round would not fire. I would extract the round, inspect the case and notice the primers were all well dimpled...at first I figured bad rounds, but after the third round I started to question what the hell was going on.
So I had my buddy shoot two of the last rounds that would not fire through my AR, sure enough, he loaded both rounds, click, bang. (Noveske Afghan Upper, RRA Two Stage LPK)
Previous to shooting the PMC out of my buddies ammo can, I had shot 40 rounds of Winchester Q3131A1 5.56 without a single issue. Click, bang, every time.
My Setup = BCM Standard Mid Length Upper Receiver Group + BCM Standard FA Carrier group + RRA Single Stage LPK. The gun is next to new, as I maybe have 150 rounds through it.
Any Ideas?
