The upper and lower join together in all of, literally, three seconds. You have to take them apart to do a cleaning, so you're not exactly getting a bucket of parts to assemble...
You're essentially buying the complete rifle in two sections, that you can assemble, without tools, in less time it takes for me to light a cigarette. Put 'em together, push the pins, and you're sporting a rifle of top quality for $50 less than your budget.
