How is the fit and finish on recently purchased LE6920's?
Mine is "very good" but, the finish on my BCM was excellent. The Colt had a couple of minor "nicks" on the upper and lower receiver from the factory jigs that they needed to clean up before they sent it to me but I took care of it for 'em. I'm happy now after some touch-up with Brownell's Aluminum Black and a light coat of oil on all surface areas. Good as new now.
You gonna enter it in a beauty contest or shoot it?
By sheer luck, both my Colt upper and lower are Black.
They also fit together.
No, just quality
Seriously? That's exactly like asking a member of our armed forces how's the fit & finish on that issue M16/M4 that yer holding? I'd say as long as the bare aluminum isn't showing through you ought to be ok. Once I bought an early Sabre Defence stripped lower from a guy online and when my FFL called and said come and pick it up I was pretty disappointed to find it's finish was rather thin and when I put it together it started to wear really fast. I sold that one to a guy who wanted to camo a rifle.
When it comes to a Colt I have seen dozens and dozens of them and not once have I personally came across a bad one. Just go shoot it and I bet you will be happy.

thanks sarge for the honest reply, to hell with the rest
i've seen gov't 1911's that rattle and shoot fine, however Kimber's are better. Same with AR's, I'm not taking the thing to war. Rough crowd
