Will do. I'm using this with a Sharps Relia-bolt so I'll probably be shooting this build quite a bit. At least until the new car smell goes away.

Tok, does your barrel have the NiB extension? If so, did you check the headspace on the bolt?
I'm just wondering if the coating changes it too much.
Yes. The extension is NiB and the fit of the barrel to the upper was very tight. I had to give the barrel a couple light taps to seat it against the flange of the upper.
Checking headspace consisted of using my .223 Remington field gauge. With the gauge in, the bolt will just start to rotate but it isn't anywhere near closing. I don't have a GO or NO GO to check things with.

A couple of questions about the hanson profile. Does the gas block area have a shoulder at the rear of the GB? What is the barrel diameter between the barrel extension and gas block area?
Thanks
There is a small flange that the gas block seats against. I'll pull the forend off my upper and get a diameter for you.

I'm considering one of these for my 5.45 build. After receiving yours Tok, would you recommend them?

Well, mine is a 5.56 but I've actually been kind of thinking I might like to play with one of the 5.45 barrels. If BA had bolts in stock I probably would have placed an order already. I suppose that means I would recommend them with the caveat that I haven't used my 5.56 barrel much at all yet and can't comment on long-term quality.
If you want a 5.45 16" barrel, AIM has the barrel with gas block for something like $250. Once again, I would have already ordered but no 5.45 bolts in stock. I think I want the Ballistic Advantage bolt since it uses a standard firing pin.

The BA bolt is very attractive to me for being able to take a standard pin instead of caliber specific in case it needs replacement. I called last week and they said most of their stuff would be coming in stock early this week. I'm not sure if that means bolts or not.
