These rails are awesome IMHO. I just payed $293.00 for my Omega X 9''. They are very slim. I will probably use these rails for just about every build in the future, unless of course the need for another rail is needed based on function.

Just put one of these rails on my patrol rifle and love it. It didn't really seem to add that much weight to the rifle and the slim profile is nice.
How is the feel of the weight to something like the KAC RAS ?
No modifications were needed with the ARMS front folding sight. About an hour installation. Sight is sturdy as hell too. Thought it would have been somewhat loose, but not at all. So glad I went this route.
I did about 10 or so of the DD proprietary barrel nuts with a AR/M4/M16 armorers wrench using the castle nut portion of the wrench. A few rifles ago, I sheared off the pin when torquing a barrel nut. I got more uses out of it than I thought I would. Since then I have picked up a DD barrel nut wrench. I am doing a couple more swaps tomorrow or Thursday.
Anyway here is what I was using.

I liked that rail so much when I bought my DD that I bought another rail at full price to go onto my LMT. They are absolutly great!
They are very sleek, very well made, easy to install and I don't find them to be heavy at all.
